Admaren Tech Pvt. Ltd. and Hoppe Marine GmbH have officially launched SecureLoad Systems Pvt. Ltd., a joint venture dedicated to modernising vessel loading, stability assessment and cargo planning across global fleets.

SecureLoad Systems is now the dedicated home of the SecureLoad product suite, combining web-based loading and stability tools, fleet-planning capabilities and upcoming applications for breakbulk and project cargo.

From internal product to independent company

For Admaren, the launch of SecureLoad Systems marks a turning point in a journey that began in 2018, when the company started building modern, web-native tools for cargo operations.

In 2020, Admaren and Hoppe Marine entered into a product partnership to develop a new-generation loading computer integrated with Hoppe’s ballast automation system. That collaboration has now matured into a jointly owned company: SecureLoad Systems Pvt. Ltd.

“SecureLoad has outgrown its origins as a project and matured into a comprehensive platform,” said Marc Rohde, General Manager, Hoppe Marine GmbH. “With SecureLoad Systems, we are giving it the dedicated structure and long-term support it deserves.”

What SecureLoad brings to cargo operations

Cargo operations remain one of the least digitised parts of maritime, often held back by legacy software, spreadsheets and disconnected workflows. SecureLoad was designed to address these gaps with a unified, web-native platform.

Key elements include:

  • One workflow for loading and stability
Intact and damage stability, longitudinal strength and ballast/trim planning brought together in a single, coherent flow.
  • 3D visualisation and optimisation
Interactive 3D views and an integrated optimisation engine help users solve complex loading and stability cases quickly, reducing reliance on deep ship-specific knowledge and repetitive manual work.
  • A single ship–shore ecosystem
Crew, port captains, naval architects and charterers can work from the same approved model and dataset, eliminating version drift and improving operational consistency.

“Cargo planning should be fast, safe and transparent,” said Nikhil Mathew, CEO, SecureLoad Systems. “SecureLoad brings engineering accuracy and modern usability into one environment. This joint venture keeps us fully focused on strengthening and scaling that vision globally.”

Product focus and roadmap

SecureLoad Systems will now focus on advancing and expanding the SecureLoad suite, with Admaren continuing as a founding shareholder and technology partner.

Current focus

  • Loading Computer: Web-based loading and stability for ship and shore
  • Fleet Cargo Planner: Fleet-level planning, review and standardisation

The company is strengthening core modules, broadening capabilities and improving ship–shore connectivity and multi-user collaboration.

Near-term roadmap

  • Stowage Planner 3D: 3D stowage and deck planning for unitised, breakbulk and project cargo
  • Acceleration & Lashing: Tools for securing calculations and documentation in heavy and project cargo operations

Longer-term direction

  • High-end engineering capabilities such as a Ship Structural Digital Twin and an advanced Hydrostatic Solver will progress on a controlled long-term roadmap.

“Our philosophy is simple: cargo operations should benefit from the same intelligence, automation and collaboration seen in other parts of maritime,” said Binoy Pilakkat, CTO, SecureLoad Systems. “SecureLoad now has a focused identity and a dedicated organisation behind it, which means faster development, a more consistent customer experience and a stronger commitment to the fleets that rely on us.”

SecureLoad within Admaren’s broader vision

As a founding shareholder and technology partner, Admaren will continue to contribute its expertise in cargo engineering, commercial shipping operations, 3D visualisation and web-native software to the SecureLoad roadmap.

SecureLoad Systems represents a key pillar in Admaren’s strategy to build product-led platforms that transform how complex cargo movements are planned, evaluated and executed.
